Hope for Hansen’s Disease and Paraguay’s Santa Isabel Leper Colony.
The Santa Isabel Leper Colony in Paraguay cares for lepers and their families. Thanks to three heroic Catholic Sisters and a dedicated staff, Santa Isabel is a place of healing and peace.
But they need our help . . . .
And they need it now . . . .
Project Willing is a U.S. 501(c)(3) project to resource the Santa Isabel Leper Colony in Sapucai, Paraguay, where over 60 patients with Hansen’s disease (known as “leprosy”) live in isolation and are dependent on the dedicated care of three Catholic sisters and their limited staff. Needs are abundant, but resources are few. Your U.S. tax-deductible donation enables Project Willing to resource the Colony’s day-to-day and month-to-month expenses (i.e. gallons of salve and 3000 feet of sterile bandages per month, among other things) and invest in long term sustainability projects that give the Colony the help it needs today and provides for years to come. We also have options for specific gifts to bring joy to residents and strength to administrators.
